Mendifesto
Mission
Mendifesto is a Berlin based mending and textile project rooted in sustainability and care. I studied costume design at DePaul University in Chicago, where I worked on projects ranging from pattern drafting to advanced mask making. My background deeply informs my approach to mending—treating each repair as both a functional fix and a creative act.
Through visible mending, gender-affirming alterations, bespoke upcycled clothing, and textile repair, I give garments new life—keeping them out of landfills and helping people feel truly at home in what they wear.
I offer sliding-scale pricing to make my work accessible to all. If the sliding scale prices listed are still out of reach, I am open to barter and trade! Together, we can reject the cycle of overproduction and overconsumption and instead take what we have to make what we need.
